Empire Exhibition - Talk with James Winnett

2018  marked the 80^th anniversary of the official opening of the Empire Exhibition in Bellahouston Park. The Exhibition was a symbol of the determination of Scots to restore prosperity and employment to Scotland and was a showcase of cutting edge architecture and the talented architects working in Scotland in the 1930s. This engaging talk by house guide James Winnett will give an insight into what was the last of the great exhibitions of Empire.
