Your Event at House for an Art Lover

The WCP2023 Presidents Dinner at House for an Art Lover was superb and everyone had a fabulous time.

The weather held up to allow the delegates to be piped into the venue and for such an international audience this was very well received.  The venue is so unique and all the guests were enthralled with James Winnett’s stories about the house and Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Margaret MacDonald.  He tailored the tour beautifully to the interests of the WCP2023 group which was very clever.  Please do pass on our heartfelt thanks to him for a wonderful guided tour of HFAL.

The food was superb, please pass on our thanks to the chef.  A special thanks to Christos Vlachos and Farooq Latief who looked after us so well on the evening.   

Lynn, a big thank you to you for all your guidance and support in the long run up to this very prestigious President’s dinner.  All the guests were so complementary about the evening and I have no doubt the memories of this evening will be with them for a very long time.

Our meal was an absolute success. All feedback received so far have been very complimentary. The menu and room aesthetics was fantastic. I would like to offer our gratitude to the highly organised and speedy serving staff, kitchen and manager Kristof for their friendliness and dedication to making our event extra special.

Apologies for the late note, it’s been a long week with COP26!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the team for bringing the whole event together fantastically well on Sunday.  Everyone was impressed with the space and Zsuzui, Scott and the team were absolutely amazing.  You all made it super easy for us and we were in very safe hands which given the short notice – went amazingly well.  The food was delicious and one of our guests said the curry was the best he’d ever had!

A little note to say a huge thank you to you and Kate for all your patience, support and management for our event last night. The dinner went without a hitch and everyone was really happy. 

Whatever we threw at you, you helped with a smile and understanding. It’s so greatly appreciated!

Please also pass on our sincere and huge huge thanks to the team managing the dinner too. Zsuzsi was unflappable, she worked with an ever changing agenda and did so with a smile and kindness. Thanks also to Scott who changed table numbers to names, cleaned floors and manned a cloakroom (all things that were above and beyond his role!). 

Jonathan and Amanda in the serving team were friendly, helpful and super efficient.

You have a wonderful team there and we are so thankful for all their and your support.
